
Gale when she was age 18 when she won the Perth modeling competition. After several seasons of modeling, Gale gained fame in 1999 when Omnitel Italy (now Vodafone Italy) cast for her in advertisements. Gale continued to be part of the advertising campaign throughout the year until. The Australian Tourist Commission also hired her in 2003 to become the "face for Australia" for Italy. Gale was featured on the cover of Australian Marie Claire Grazia Gioia Italian Maxim Australian InStyle, Australian Marie Claire, Italian GQ and Australian GQ and was also featured in Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan editorials. Gale has worked with Italian designers, including Gianfranco Fere, Genny Gai Mattiolo, and Gianfranco Fere. Gai Mattiolo as well as at the fashion shows of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale also favours many Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. She also served as fashion analyst for Australia's television awards in 2006 (the Logies). Gale announced in January 2008 that she was retiring from modeling runways following 15 prosperous years. In the following weeks on, during the unveiling of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for one last time down the catwalk.
